RESPONDING TO SAFEGUARDING CONCERNS

Where a child is believed to be in immediate danger, emergency services should be contacted without delay. Any concerns relating to safeguarding must be reported to the Safeguarding Officer as soon as possible.

If a child discloses a concern to an adult representative of JumpRopeSupplier, the adult must:

  • Listen calmly and respectfully.
  • Take the child’s concern seriously.
  • Avoid making promises of confidentiality that cannot be kept.
  • Record the disclosure accurately, including time, date, and key details.
  • Report the matter to the Safeguarding Officer the same day.

SAFEGUARDING AT EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES

When JumpRopeSupplier organizes or participates in events involving children (such as workshops, competitions, or community programs), we ensure:

  • Risk assessments are completed for venues and activities.
  • Staff and instructors are appropriately vetted and trained.
  • Children are adequately supervised at all times.
